I expound upon how the main musical theme or idea was birthed, the thought process behind it, the choices of instrumentation and arranging taken, to how these creative choices helped craft and propel the narrative. I hope you enjoy them, and find them helpful.

In this video, we take a look at my score for the Science Fiction short film, Ensouled, directed by Moe Najati.

I discuss my approach to creating an immersive score that captures the tone and essence of the world of the film through use of whistling, an ARP2600, and unusual recording techniques that complement the dystopian backdrop of the film.
